We chose this veterinary clinic while staying at our vacation home because of its excellent reviews and reputation. Unfortunately, our experience during our two recent visits was disappointing. Our kitten was very sick, and during both visits we had Sarah as our veterinary technician. We found her to be lacking in compassion and bedside manner during an incredibly stressful time. She handled our tiny kitten in a way that felt rough rather than gentle, and there was very little warmth, reassurance, or empathy shown toward either our kitten or us as worried pet owners. I want to be clear that this isn't a reflection of the entire clinic. In April, we had to make the heartbreaking decision to euthanize our beloved dog, Hooch, at this same clinic. The veterinary technician who helped us through that devastating experience was absolutely exceptional. I wish I could remember her name because she treated Hooch and us with incredible compassion, kindness, and dignity. That experience is exactly why this recent one stood out so much. When you're bringing in a critically ill pet, gentle handling and genuine compassion make a tremendous difference. While we appreciate the medical care our kitten received, our interactions with Sarah left us feeling unsettled and unsupported. We hope this feedback is taken constructively, as a little more empathy and gentle care can make all the difference for both animals and their families during such difficult times.

We were visiting over a holiday weekend, and our little dog had an accident. He swallowed a fishing hook and we didn’t know where to turn. Dr. Burke and Brett took the most prompt and thorough care of us and our little boy, and the prices were very reasonable. They saved our boy and turned a nightmare into a blessing. We know where to bring our pets next time we’re in the White Mountains. Thank you Blue Ridge Pet Clinic a million times over!
