We have gone to Westside since we moved to Flagstaff. Our animals have been treated with care, handled gently and given consistently good care. The staff at all levels -- vets, techs, and admin staff -- have treated us professionally and warmly. We have always been given options and never "sold" more than our pets have needed. Prices have always seemed fair. Their motto is "Where Everyone Is Family". When we recently had to let one of our dogs cross the Rainbow Bridge, they were as loving and kind to us as they were sweet and gentle to our little dog.

JENNY SIESS, DVM IS ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS, AND SHOULD NEVER TOUCH A RABBIT. If you hold a bunny on its back, it goes into a shock-induced trance because IT THINKS IT IS DYING. JENNY SIESS NOT ONLY HELD ONE OF MY BUNNIES ON HER BACK, BUT ASSURED ME IT WAS “actually really calming for rabbits.” THIS COULD NOT BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH. SHE ALSO ASKED IF MY RABBITS WERE GETTING ENOUGH FRUITS AND VEGETABLES… THIS IS NOT THE PROPER QUESTION. ALL FRUITS AND MOST VEGETABLES CONTAIN FAR TOO MUCH SUGAR FOR RABBITS. ANY AMOUNT OF SUGAR IS MORE THAN THEIR DIET REQUIRES, AND SHOULD BE RESERVED FOR RARE OCCASIONS ONLY. The proper question is “are they getting enough dark leafy greens?” I DO NOT KNOW HOW SHE IS LICENSED TO PRACTICE VETERINARY MEDICINE, BUT SHE SHOULD NOT BE. The vet tech TJ was excellent, and her assistance in trimming my bunnies’ nails was the only redeeming part of my visit. DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMALS HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT THEIR WELLBEING. The Arizona State Veterinary Medical Examining Board will be receiving a formal complaint, and I expect a full refund from the business that should not be in business. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

The kindness and exceptional care I got for my senior dog Sadie was truly a blessing during a very difficult time. I would recommend Dr. Siess and her staff to anyone who loves their pets.
